Transformation of automobile production line in a vocational technical college

Project Introduction

Recently, our company and Siemens China Beijing Research Institute for the vocational and technical college carefully transformed the digital automobile door frame production line successfully delivered operation. Customer demand is to make the existing robot, PLC, AGV, glue machine, 3D vision camera, three-dimensional warehouse and other equipment into a set of digital twin, MES integrated digital production line combined with the existing equipment, in order to change the production line long-term faced with less equipment and more students teaching confusion and can not achieve the due teaching goals.

Overall project process：

Obtain orders → generate order information → Find raw material inventory → three-dimensional warehouse delivery → Conveyor transportation → robot gluing → two-axis handling → robot welding → robot feeding →AGV transportation → three-dimensional warehouse storage → Complete orders

The successful delivery of the project can meet the needs of nearly 100 students to conduct online simulation operation of the production line, so that students have a deeper understanding of digital intelligent modern industry. Through the online simulation operation, students can practice the concept of digital intelligent production, understand the technology and application of intelligent manufacturing, and be able to obtain production data in real time, perform data analysis and optimize the production process.

In addition, the successful delivery of the project will empower students with data analysis skills and help them master data analysis tools and techniques to enable data-driven production decisions. At the same time, AI assistance can also provide students with technical support for intelligent manufacturing and help them understand the basic principles and application scenarios of intelligent manufacturing. It can help students gain more in-depth understanding and practical experience, have the basic ability and knowledge of high-end composite talents, and become high-end composite talents under the intelligent manufacturing system.

Second, Product Application

We adopted

Automation: Siemens 1500 series PLC and Siemens 1200 series PLC.

Transmission: Siemens G120 series inverter as the drive unit.

Network: Siemens switches are used.

Low voltage: Using Siemens low-voltage components.
