Digital Car Door Frame Production Line Delivered, Boosting Intelligent Vocational Education.
Recently, our company, together with Siemens Beijing, China Research Institute, successfully delivered the digital automobile door frame production line for a college. The successful landing of the project marks a solid step in the intelligent and digital transformation and upgrading of vocational education, and also provides strong support for cultivating high-end compound talents in the field of intelligent manufacturing in the new era.
Aiming at solving the pain points in practical teaching, this project has tailored a set of comprehensive digital solutions integrating digital twinning and MES system in view of the long-term problems faced by the automobile door frame production line in the college, such as fewer equipment and more students, and the teaching goal is difficult to achieve. The project integrates the existing robots, PLC, AGV, glue coater, 3D vision camera, three-dimensional warehouse and other equipment to build a highly simulated digital automobile door frame production environment.
The overall architecture of the project is based on Workflow Canvas™ platform, which realizes the digital control of the whole process from order acquisition to product warehousing. Students can experience all aspects of digital intelligent production through online simulation operation, including order processing, material handling, robot gluing and welding, AGV transportation, three-dimensional warehouse management, etc., so as to deepen their understanding of intelligent manufacturing technology and application.
It is worth mentioning that the project also pays special attention to the cultivation of students' data analysis ability. By obtaining production data in real time, students can learn to use data analysis tools to optimize and make decisions on production processes, and truly realize data-driven production mode. In addition, the project also introduced AI technology to provide students with technical support for intelligent manufacturing and help them understand the application scenarios and development trends of AI in production.
